This Week in Ner Yaakov - October 26, 2006Date: October 26, 2006This Week in Ner Yaakov – 10/26 Well this week started off on a somber note. Ner Yaakov Cobras - a close one in opening week of AFI to Tov Pizza of Bais Yisroel. However this somber feeling did not continue into Shabbas as Rabbi Lichtman led the Shabbas in Ner Yaakov. The singing and dancing made everybody forget about the loss. Monday Rabbi Orlofsky gave his annual speech, and as usual, he got his point across using humor. Everybody was on the floor laughing and walked away inspired by his words of Torah. Tuesday was a Tiyul to the Bar Kochova caves. All the people who went loved it. Going through the caves in pitch darkness made it a true challenge to get out. And to top of the week, Rabbi Adler gave a moving speech about the connection of Adam and Noach. Look forward to next week’s edition for the results of Ner Yaakov’s game against Mercaz Hatorah. |
