Rabbi Motti Berger stopped by, and spoke this passed Sunday in Ner Yaakov. Rabbi Berger was welcomed with well thought-out and great questions by the Ner Yaakov talmidim. He even stayed an hour after his shiur to have a personal one on one with anyone interested. The Bochrim really enjoyed the experience, and all came out with answered questions and clear minds.

Coming and Going

The Talmidim are anxiously awaiting the return of the Rosh HaYeshiva, and "The Coach" Rabbi Lichtman, from America. We hope they had a great and successful trip, and can't wait to have them back in Yeshiva.

The Bochrim wish a Tzeschem LeShalom to Baruch Dollman, and Yosef Schweke who are going back to America and pursuing their learning there. We also a Tzeschem Leshalom to Rabbi Sondhelm, Rabbi Kunstler, and Rabbi Schwartz, who are all leaving to America within this coming week. We'll miss you all, very much.

This Week In Football

The Ner Yaakov Cobras completely demolished the Ohr Sameach Derech team this past Friday, 36-6. The Cobras had more interceptions then Derech had receptions. What was more exciting for Ner Yaakov was, the only receiver with receptions on Derech, left Derech and joined the Ner Yaakov family in the beginning of the year. With this win, the Ner Yaakov Cobras clinched a spot in the Final Bowl Game, which will be played this coming Motzei Shabbose at Kraft Stadium.

This Week In Hockey

This past week, the Ner Yaakov A team got a chance to play their peers on the Ner Yaakov B team. The players and the fans had a great time watching their friends play, and after an exciting game the A Team took the game 6-3. Both teams will be playing this week Thursday, and I should have the updates in next weeks report.

New In Ner Yaakov

Just last week, headed by Rabbi Doni Kunstler and Duvie Merkin, Ner Yaakov started releasing it's own personal newspaper. It's something that gives the bochrim an outlet they need, and is a fun thing for everyone to work on, on their own time. The second issue just came out and people are getting more impressed by the talents and skills of their peers.
