Ner Yaakov is located in the heart of Yerushalayim…
The students live in a fully equipped dormitory. Dorm parents and dorm counselors live on or near premises, providing guidance, supervision and assistance at all times.
The air-conditioned Beis Medrash is large and airy, as are our dining facilities. There are complimentary laundry facilities, and a nearby dry cleaners that picks up and delivers. Three hot meals are served daily, cooked fresh on premises.
The dormitory is open all year round, including Succos and Pesach. Rebbeim come in even during the breaks to learn with the students. The atmosphere on Shabbos and Yom Tov is filled with simcha and togetherness, a time when the ideas and concepts that we studied are put into practice.
To round out the curriculum and contribute to our students' physical well being, we rent out a nearby gym five nights a week for our exclusive use. Our facilities include a ping-pong table, foosball table and video games, a newly updated weight room, and a computer lab where email accounts can be set up and students can stay in touch with the news. There is an air-conditioned, soundproof music room equipped with guitars, amplifiers, a drum set and other instruments. Many students also take advantage of local organized sports leagues including flag football, basketball, hockey and softball. The Ner Yaakov Cobras were the 2005 Holyland Bowl Champions, the third Championship for Ner Yaakov football teams.
