Ner Yaakov arranges monthly trips for its students, exposing them to the history and beauty of Eretz Yisrael and helping them develop a sense of connection with the Land. Students are given the opportunity to visit places they learned about in various lectures envisioning the events that took place there. We go kayaking down the Jordan River, biking in the Negev, hiking the paths and mountains of our Holy Land and much more. There are also periodic Shabbatonim to various cities throughout the country, adding to the spirit and unity of the yeshiva and the well-rounded experience that the students receive. A highlight of the year is the Tzfat Shabbaton when Rebbeim and students come together for an unforgettable event. |
